Why do people say Classic Who is better Than New Who

O.K, so I know that many people will disagree with me but, I just don't find the classic series of Doctor Who as good as the new ones. I only became a fan of the show in 2005, and after series 1 I rewached many an episode of the classic series, but I just didn't find them as interesting, that said It's still Doctor Who so It's still amazing! But, It just doesn't have the same impact on me that the new series does. That said I love how this current series is going back to classic feel!
I think I prefer the new series because it has much more modern themes. It's not just Sci-Fi, but theres a whole lot of Drama, and Romance and Horror. Like Matt, Karen and Steven are always saying, like a fairytale.

The Hungry Earth - Synopsis

Here is the synopsis for episode 8, The Hungry Earth:

It's 2015 and the most ambitious drilling project in history has reached deeper beneath the Earth's crust than man has ever gone before – but now the ground itself is fighting back.

In the latest episode of the time-travelling drama, written by Chris Chibnall, the Doctor, Amy and Rory arrive in a tiny mining village and find themselves plunged into a battle against a deadly danger from a bygone age

YAY! Looks Great!

Random Theory Of The Week !

New weekly thing- a random theory per week !

This one comes from my sister:

Has anyone noticed the amount of lightning that has appeared throughout this series. It's getting a bit suspicious. Maybe part of a bigger picture. First of all. The lightning in the Time Vortex. Then, when The TARDIS malterializes infront of Amy and Rory at the end of ep 1, there is lightning, then in ep 6, the doctor gets electrocuted and there is lightning in the sky, my sister thinks that the lightning could be an unknown threat following the doctor and amy around!

Make of that what you will...

Amy's Choice - Next Time Trailer

EPICNESS!!!!:

The Vampires Of Venice - My thoughts.

WOW! THAT WAS AMAZING !!!!

what a great episode, not as good as Flesh and Stone, but then again, what is?

My second favourite from the series!
The end shot was indeed interesting and the crack was much less noticeable this time round.
Very interesting to hear more of the threat of the 'scilence' am very looking foreward to the finale.

a note on the SFX. The aliens looked suberb in thier fish/insect form. When smoke poured from the building, amazing. But... when the doctor was climbing up the tower... what happened, all the SFX were the best in the series up till then. Bit of a dissapointment.

but it was funny! Love Rory's 'your mum' diss! Complete FAIL!
The Vampires were certainly creepy and the set... WOW! It certainly looked like Venice.

Oh and Amy's Choice looks EPIC!!!

Wonderful Episode, 8/10
